Jake Huewe ID’d as Man Killed in Needles Car Accident on Interstate 40
Needles, California (August 29, 2020) – Jake Huewe, age 26, of Anaheim, has been identified as the man who was killed in a rollover car crash on Saturday night in Needles, authorities said.
The fatal single-vehicle crash happened at about 9:08 p.m., on August 28, on Interstate 40 near mile marker 119.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a car, driven by Huewe, was headed eastbound on the roadway when it rolled over. The factors that contributed to the accident are yet to be established.
Jake Huewe Dies after Traffic Crash on Interstate 40 in Needles
Huewe was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger was flown to a Las Vegas area hospital in an unknown condition.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
