Jaime Arellano Seriously Injured in Fatal Fiery Car Crash on Highway 43 in Kings County
Jaime Arellano ID’d as 1 of 2 People Injured in Kings County Crash on Highway 43 near Nevada Avenue

Kings County, California (April 2, 2021) – Jaime Arellano has been identified as one of the two parties who were injured in a fiery two-vehicle crash that killed three people on Thursday evening in Kings County, authorities said.
The deadly accident occurred at about 6:30 p.m., on April 1, on Highway 43, north of Nevada Avenue.
A witness told the California Highway Patrol that a Toyota 4Runner, driven by a 44-year-old man from the Orosi, was traveling northbound on the highway at a high rate of speed as it approached a curve in the roadway.
The Toyota then veered into the southbound lane into the path of a Chevy Tahoe, driven by Jaime Arellano. Arellano swerved into the northbound lanes but unfortunately, the two vehicles collided on the passenger’s sides, the officials said.
Following the collision, the Toyota caught fire.
Araceli Arellano Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 43
Sadly, Milagros Arellano, 11, her sister, Araceli Arellano, 16, of Corcoran, both from Corcoran and the Orosi man, were pronounced dead at the scene. Milagros Arellano and her sister were passengers in the Toyota.
Jaime Arellano and his son 9-year-old Jaime Arellano Jr., were seriously injured and were hospitalized for treatment.
Speed was determined to be a factor in the accident, the authorities said.
The crash remains under investigation.
