San Luis Obispo, California (June 15, 2019) – A 28-year-old man was arrested after a traffic accident that left at least three people injured at an intersection in San Luis Obispo Friday night, according to a local news source.
The crash happened at about 10:00 p.m. Friday, June 14, at the intersection of Madonna Road and Los Osos Valley Road.
As per the report, a California Highway Patrol officer tried to pull over a car traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on Highway 101.
The vehicle then exited the freeway and stopped momentarily but then sped through a red light southbound on Madonna Road.

Moments later, the 2014 white Dodge Challenger clipped a truck at the intersection of Los Osos Valley Road. The force of the impact caused the driver of the Dodge Challenger to lose control and slammed into a light pole.
The Dodge driver fled the scene but was later caught by police. The driver was identified as Jacob Dreyer, 28. He was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
Firefighters had to extricate two passengers in the Dodge. They were also transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.
The truck driver escaped injury.
Authorities said Dreyer is facing charges of felony evading, hit-and-run causing injuries and DUI.
The investigation is ongoing.
