Jackson Williams Killed in Bicycle Accident at Oceanside Boulevard and Interstate 5 in Oceanside
Oceanside, California (July 23, 2021) – 27-year-old Jackson Williams has been identified as the man who was killed in a bicycle accident last week Thursday in Oceanside.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the bicycle accident happened at about 11:30 p.m. July 15, at Oceanside Boulevard and Interstate 5.
Williams was riding a bicycle in the area and was hit by a dark-colored car that fled the scene after the collision.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The police have since arrested 24-year-old Bailey Tennery on suspicion of vehicular homicide and hit-and-run resulting in death. A 2014 Black Nissan Versa Note believed to have been involved in the crash was also recovered from the suspect’s Oceanside home.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
