Santa Rosa, California (May 21, 2019) – 40-year-old Ismail Hernandez-Garcia has been identified as a passenger who was injured in an accident involving two vehicles on Monday morning in Santa Rosa, police said.

The crash was reported at about 9:02 a.m. May 20, on Highway 12 west of Fulton Road.

According to Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office, 54-year-old Charlana Brown, of Santa Rosa, was driving a Toyota Camry when he reportedly lost control and crossed into the opposite traffic. The back end of the Camry collided with an oncoming white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck driven by Isidro Guzman, 28, of Huron.

Hernandez-Garcia, a passenger in the Chevrolet and both drivers were severely injured in the crash. They were all taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

Alcohol was not believed to be the cause of the crash.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
