Driver Injured in Irwindale Car Crash on 605 Freeway near Arrow Highway Off-Ramp
Irwindale, California (July 30, 2021) – A driver was hurt in a two-vehicle collision that happened Friday morning in Irwindale, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident occurred at around 7:25 a.m. on southbound 605 Freeway, near the Arrow Highway off-ramp.
A gray Toyota Corolla and a white Cadillac XT5 were involved in the crash. The Corolla overturned onto its roof, blocking the HOV lane after the impact.
Monterey Park Police Department officers were at the scene and were blocking the HOV lane.
The driver of the Corolla, a man in his late 20’s, suffered lacerations in the crash and required an ambulance for medical attention. It remained unclear if that driver was hospitalized and if there was any other person injured.
The report did not mention the cause of the crash, but authorities are investigating.
