1 Injured in Ione Car Crash on Highway 88 near Jackson Valley Road
Ione, California (January 15, 2021) – At least one person was injured in a car crash that happened on Thursday morning in Ione, Amador County.
The accident happened at about 8:50 a.m. January 14, on Highway 88 near Jackson Valley Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles and possibly a third vehicle were involved in the accident. The event manner in which the accident happened, however, was not immediately established.
One of the vehicles reportedly overturned after the collision.
The authorities said one person was hurt in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
