Inderpal Rajput Among 5 Persons Killed in Gridley Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 99 near Hinamin Drive
Gridley, California (November 18, 2020) – The Butte County Coroner has identified Inderpal Rajput, 61, of Live Oak, as one of the five parties who were killed in a traffic accident early Saturday morning in Gridley, Butte County.
The deadly ten-vehicle accident transpired at about 12:40 a.m., on November 14, on Highway 99 near Hinamin Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, five passenger vehicles and five big rigs collided on the highway. How the accident occurred is yet to be established.
Inderpal Rajput Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 99
Rajput, who was in one of the vehicles, sustained fatal injuries in the collision. Four other people were killed in the accident.
Highway 99 between Biggs and Gridley was closed for an unknown period due to the accident.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
