2 Injured in Imperial Pedestrian Accident at Dogwood and Harris Roads
Imperial, California (September 2, 2020) – Two pedestrians were struck and injured by a vehicle Saturday evening at an intersection in Imperial, according to a local news source.
At about 7:39 p.m.Saturday, August 29, the California Highway Patrol officers received a report about the accident at the intersection of Dogwood and Harris roads.
According to the CHP report, the two pedestrians were hit by a black Volkswagen Jetta at the intersection.
2 People Struck, Injured by Vehicle in Imperial
First responders arrived at the location and rendered aid to the two injured pedestrians. Their names and conditions were not immediately diclosed.
It remains unknown if the driver involved stopped at the scene after the accident.
Dogwood Road was shut down due to the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
