Possible Injuries in Humboldt County Car Crash on Highway 101 at Fields Landing Drive
Humboldt County, California (March 12, 2019) – There were possible injuries in an accident where two vehicles collided in Humboldt County Sunday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash, which was reported just before 5:48 p.m. March 11, occurred on Highway 101 at Fields Landing Drive.
As per the CHP report, the accident occurred when a dark gray Toyota Corolla, for unknown reasons, crashed into a Nissan Titan on the highway near the Fields Landing Drive off-ramp. The Toyota rolled down the embankment due to the impact of the collision.
The crash resulted in injuries to the parties involved. A land ambulance was dispatched to the scene to provide aid to the victims. The identities and the extent of the injuries suffered in the collision were not immediately revealed.
The reason as to why the two vehicles crashed is being investigated.
