Man Seriously Injured in Hollister Truck Accident at San Justo Road and San Juan Highway

Hollister, California (May 18, 2021) – A man was seriously injured Monday night in a traffic crash involving a pair of trucks at an intersection in Hollister, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury traffic collision happened at about 8:45 p.m. Monday, May 17, at the intersection of San Justo Road and San Juan Highway.
CHP said a food truck collided with a blue truck for unknown reasons at the intersection.
Both trucks sustained significant damage following the wreck.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated the driver of the blue truck who was trapped in the wreckage.
The extricated person, described as a male victim, suffered major injuries in the crash. His name and current condition were not immediately disclosed.
No other injuries were immediately reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
