Keyes, California (April 17, 2021) – A Hilmar motorcyclist was killed Friday afternoon in a traffic accident near Keyes in Stanislaus County, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

According to the report, the deadly motorcycle accident happened shortly after 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 16 at the intersection of Faith Home and East Taylor roads.

A 2007 Ford pickup was heading northbound on Faith Home Road when it attempted to make a left turn toward East Taylor Road. For an unknown reason, the pickup struck the 61-year-old motorcyclist who was heading southbound on Faith Home Road.

The impact caused the rider to be ejected from the bike and died at the scene. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.

Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the accident. No one was arrested following the Keyes fatal motorcycle accident.
