Rialto Woman Killed in Highland Hit-And-Run Pedestrian Accident at Baseline Street and Rogers Lane
Highland, California (September 9, 2020) – A 33-year-old Rialto Woman was struck and killed by an alleged hit-and-run driver late Monday night in Highland, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reported.
The fatal pedestrian accident happened in the area of Baseline Street and Rogers Lane at approximately 11:30 p.m. on September 7.
The female party was hit by a possibly yellow hatchback or small SUV while walking at the Highland intersection for undetermined reasons.
The involved driver left the woman laying down in the highway and fled the crash site eastbound on Baseline Street.
Highland Fatal Pedestrian Hit-and-Run
Meanwhile, the pedestrian died at the St. Bernadine’s Medical Center while undergoing treatment of major injuries.
Officials are still searching for the involved suspect.
The deadly accident remains under investigation.
