Highland, California (January 22, 2019) – A bicyclist was killed in a crash involving a vehicle on Monday night in Highland, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
The crash happened at the intersection of Sterling Avenue and 9th Street at about 8:30 p.m. January 21.
Deputies said the rider was pronounced deceased at the scene. Details on the events leading up to the crash were not immediately released.
The authorities did not identify the bicyclist killed in the accident.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
