Highland, California (August 6, 2019) – A sheriff’s deputy was injured in a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Highland on Saturday afternoon, according to a local news source.
The wreck happened at about 2:12 p.m. August 3, at 9th Street and Palm Avenue.
According to the news source, a Highland Station deputy was responding to a call when the crash occurred. The deputy was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection when a vehicle traveling southbound on Palm Avenue lost control and slammed into the patrol vehicle.

The deputy was transported to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
