1 Critically Injured in Hesperia Motorcycle Accident on Amargosa Road
Hesperia, California (October 4, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Sunday afternoon motorcycle accident that left one person critically injured in Hesperia.
The crash happened at about 1:51 p.m. on Amargosa Road about a half-mile from Key Pointe Drive.
A witness told the police that two motorcycles were riding next to each other when one bike sped past his car and crashed into a white SUV.
As per the official’s report, the rider lost control around the curve and traveled into the dirt shoulder, causing him to be ejected.
The motorcycle reportedly continued traveling northbound on Amargosa Road and crashed into the side of the SUV that was southbound on Amargosa Road at the time.
Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Crash on Amargosa Road
The rider was critically injured and was airlifted to a trauma center for treatment.
The driver of the SUV was not injured.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
