1 Dies After Car and Truck Crashes on 15 Freeway near Main Street Off-Ramp in Hesperia
Hesperia, California (March 31, 2020) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, a traffic collision involving two vehicles in the area of Hesperia Tuesday morning resulted in the death of one unidentified victim.
The deadly crash occurred at about 1:35 a.m. on 15 Freeway, just north of the Main Street off-ramp.
The accident involved a silver Honda Accord and a white tractor-trailer that collided on the northbound side of the freeway for undisclosed reasons, a local news source reported.
The sedan was crushed underneath the trailer upon the impact. Authorities said one person was trapped inside the wrecked sedan.

The pinned victim was declared dead shortly after being extricated from the wreckage by firefighters.
Pending notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
