Woman Killed in Hemet Traffic Collision on Menlo Avenue near Glenn Way
Hemet, California (September 18, 2020) – A 66-year-old woman died following a scooter accident that occurred at an intersection in Hemet Tuesday night, the Hemet Police Department reported.
The fatal traffic collision happened at about 10:00 p.m. on Menlo Avenue near Glenn Way.
As per the report, a 1997 Honda Civic hit the female party while riding her mobility scooter east on Menlo Avenue in the single traffic lane on September 15.
Fatal Hemet Scooter Crash Tuesday Night
The woman, a Perris resident, died in the accident.
Meanwhile, the involved motorist told officials that he did not see the female party riding in the middle of the dark street.
