Pedestrian Hospitalized after Hemet Accident at Stanford Street and Highway 74

Hemet, California (May 10, 2021) – A pedestrian was hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a traffic collision at an intersection in Hemet early Sunday morning.
The hit-and-run collision was reported shortly before 12:30 a.m. in the area of Stanford Street and Highway 74.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, an individual was reportedly struck by a vehicle at the Hemet intersection under unclear circumstances.
Hemet Crash Seriously Injures One Party
The unidentified pedestrian was attended to by paramedics and then transported to the Riverside University Health System Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
The crash resulted in the closure of the intersection for an unknown time.
Authorities are still gathering more evidence to locate the involved driver who fled the scene after the accident.
