Hemet, California (January 13, 2019) – One person was killed while two others were hurt in a crash that occurred near the U.S. Forest Service Cranston fire station in Hemet on Friday evening.

According to a local news source, the wreck happened on Highway 74, approximately quarter a mile from the fire station on Friday, January 11.

The circumstances under which the vehicles collided were not immediately established. The report showed that as many as three vehicles were involved in the accident.

One person died at the scene of the crash. The person’s identity was not immediately released pending notification of the next of kin.

Two other people suffered minor injuries.

The CHP is working to determine the cause of the wreck.
