Heidi Patterson Injured in Car Crash on Highway 70 near Blackhawk Road in Quincy
Quincy, California (August 28, 2020) – Heidi Patterson, 49, of Red Bluff, was injured in a car crash that occurred at a construction zone in Quincy on Thursday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 70 near Blackhawk Road at about 12:12 p.m. August 27.
25-year-old Katlyn Faught, of Greenville, and her three passengers had been traveling in a 2017 black Hyundai Accent and were passing through a construction zone.
Faught is reported to have rubbed her eyes and allowed her car to swerve from the westbound lane into the eastbound lane and struck a white Ram 1500 pickup truck.
Patterson was in the pickup truck and sustained minor injuries in the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
