Major Injuries Sustained in 880 Freeway Motorcycle Accident near West Winton Avenue
Hayward, California (December 22, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol said a Hayward car collision on 880 Freeway Saturday afternoon resulted in major injuries.
The accident involved two vehicles and occurred at about 4:29 p.m. in the northbound lanes, just south of West Winton Avenue off-ramp.
A blue Harley Davidson motorcycle collided with a car for unknown reasons, authorities said.
At least one person sustained major injuries in the accident. Paramedics responded to the scene to help the victim.
Two tow trucks were needed to remove the vehicles from the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
