Person Killed in Hayward Pedestrian Crash near Leidig Street
Hayward, California (September 25, 2019) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a train on Tuesday evening in Hayward, according to the authorities.
The incident was reported at about 6:19 p.m. September 24, near Leidig Street.
It’s unclear what led to the pedestrian being hit by the Capitol Corridor train on the tracks.

The victim died in the crash. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
The accident is under investigation.
