Minor Injuries Reported in Hayward Crash on 880 Freeway near Dixon Landing Road
Hayward, California (January 3, 2019) – Minor injuries were sustained after a three-car crash Wednesday night in the area of Hayward, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 10:26 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, on southbound 880 Freeway, just north of Dixon Landing Road.
As per the CHP officials, three vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties.
The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately available.
Lanes No. 1, 2 and 3 were blocked following the accident.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicle from the crash site.
The roadway was cleared, and all vehicles moved to the right-hand shoulder as of 10:59 p.m.
