Minor Injuries Sustained after Hayward Accident on 880 Freeway and Winton Avenue
Hayward, California (March 15, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle collision Thursday morning in the area of Hayward, according to authorities.
The collision happened at around 8:45 a.m. Thursday, March 14, on northbound 880 Freeway, just south of Winton Avenue.
As per officials, a white Toyota Corolla and a white Ford Utility pickup truck crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
The vehicles were blocking lanes 1 and 2 following the collision. All lanes were opened as of 9:28 a.m.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
