1 Injured in Hayward Car Crash on 880 Freeway near Industrial Parkway
Hayward, California (October 16, 2020) – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car accident in Hayward on Thursday night.
The accident happened at about 10:57 p.m. October 15, in the southbound lanes of Interstate 880 Freeway near Industrial Parkway.
A silver Toyota Corolla and a second vehicle were involved in the accident. Although the manner in which the accident happened was not immediately established, the authorities said the Corolla suffered major front-end damage in the collision.
One person was transported to an area hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
