Guadalupe Noriega ID’d as 1 of 3 Killed after Car Collides Head-On with Box Truck on South Riverside Avenue near Santa Ana Avenue in Rialto
Rialto, California (June 30, 2021) – Authorities have identified one of the three people who were killed Monday morning in a head-on collision in Rialto as Guadalupe Noriega, 26.
The deadly accident occurred at about 7:30 a.m. Monday, June 28, in the 2500 block of South Riverside Avenue near Santa Ana Avenue.
According to the authorities, Noriega was driving a 2020 Nissan Altima southbound on Riverside Avenue towards Santa Ana Avenue at a high rate of speed when she abruptly turned and clipped the back of a Dodge Ram truck.
The Altima then drifted into the northbound lanes and collided head-on with a box truck.

Noriega and two of her passengers were pronounced dead at the scene.
A third passenger in the Altima, a 21-year-old Fontana woman, was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The westbound lanes of the freeway were shut down to contain the fire that spread from the crash scene to the side of the road.
Further details regarding the mishap were not immediately available.
