2 Injured, 1 Seriously, in Grass Valley Crash on Highway 49 near McKnight Way
Grass Valley, California (June 6, 2021) – Two people were injured in a Friday afternoon car crash in Grass Valley, authorities said.
The major-injury accident was reported at around 4:51 p.m. Friday, June 4, on Highway 49, just south of McKnight Way.
According to the authorities, a gold Chevrolet Malibu collided with a gold Chevrolet Malibu in the southbound lane of Highway 49.
Following the crash, one vehicle sustained major front-end damage while the other vehicle had major left-side damage.
Two people were injured in the crash. An elderly patient was taken to the Sutter Roseville Medical Center with major injuries while the other victim sought medical treatment on their own.
Southbound lanes of Highway 49 were closed due to the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
