Rider Hurt in Granada Hills Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 5
Granada Hills, California (September 24, 2019) – A motorcyclist was injured in a traffic collision in the area of Granada Hills on Tuesday morning, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The motorcycle crash happened at around 7:28 a.m. September 24 on the Interstate 5 Freeway near Roxford Street.
The CHP said a motorcyclist and possibly an SUV collided on the highway for unknown reasons. Due to the impact, the motorcycle went down in the No. 2 lane, and the rider was in the No. 3 lane.
Rider Hurt After Granada Hills Motorcycle and Car Accident
The motorcyclist was attended to by paramedics who arrived at the scene shortly after the wreck. The name and current condition of the wounded party have not yet been released to this time.
Multiple lanes were blocked by emergency vehicles and those involved in the crash. The bike was towed away from the scene.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
