1 Injured in Highway 101 Pedestrian Crash near El Captain State Beach Road in Goleta
Goleta, California (September 18, 2019) – Authorities are investigating an auto-pedestrian accident that happened Wednesday morning in Goleta.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the major injury accident happened at about 7:25 a.m. on southbound Highway 101 near El Captain State Beach Road.
CHP officers said a pedestrian was hit by at least one vehicle under unclear circumstances.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and offered the victim medical aid.
The cause of the crash is under an active investigation.
