Man In His Mid-20s Killed in Goleta Motorcycle Accident on Fairview Avenue at Stow Canyon Road
Goleta, California (February 6, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic crash Wednesday afternoon in Goleta, authorities said.
The tragic accident happened at around 4:20 p.m. on Fairview Avenue at Stow Canyon Road.
According to the authorities, a Honda SUV collided with the motorcyclist for an unknown reason at the intersection.
The motorcyclist, a man believed to be in his mid-20s, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. His name has not been disclosed pending identification and notification of his next of kin.
The SUV driver was uninjured in the crash.
The crash caused the closure of Fairview in both directions for hours.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
