Minor Injuries Sustained in Glendale Car Accident on 5 Freeway near Western Avenue

Glendale, California (May 6, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle crash Monday morning in the area of Glendale, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 7:51 a.m. Monday, on southbound 5 Freeway, just south of Western Avenue.
As per the CHP officials, multi-vehicle crashed for unknown reasons.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
A SigAlert was issued closing lane 3, 4 and 5 following the crash.
All lanes were opened as of 8:51 a.m.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
