Pasadena, California (August 20, 2019) – A17-year-old girl was injured and hospitalized after a vehicle accident on Monday morning in Pasadena, John Rodriguez, 18, of Pasadena, arrested, according to a police report.

The crash was reported at around 1:53 a.m. August 19, on the 300 block of Washington Boulevard.

Police said Rodriguez, suspected of being under the influence of drugs crashed into a parked a car.

Rodriguez left behind his 17-year-old passenger injured. The girl was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Rodriguez fled the scene after the crash, but he was later located and arrested on suspicion hit-and-run and felony driving under the influence.

The incident is still under investigation.
