Rider Sustains Major Injuries in Gilroy Motorcycle Accident on Highway 101 and Highway 25 Wednesday
Gilroy, California (August 7, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday evening at an intersection in Gilroy, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash was reported at about 6:12 p.m. in the area of Highway 101 and Highway 25 near the Rapazzini Winery.
As per the report, a black Honda Civic hit the motorcyclist for an unknown reason near the Highway 101 and Highway 25 transition road.

The motorcyclist sustained major injuries and was treated at the scene by responding paramedics.
The rider was then taken to a hospital for further treatment. The name and condition of the patient were not immediately disclosed.
It was immediately unknown if the Honda Civic driver was injured in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by authorities.
