Man Killed in Gilroy Crash on Highway 101 near Sargent Overcrossing
Gilroy, California (March 25, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Wednesday morning traffic accident that killed a man in Gilroy.
The deadly accident occurred at about 1:50 a.m., on March 24, on Highway 101 south of the Sargent overcrossing.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2007 Nissan Altima, driven by the man, veered off the right shoulder of northbound Highway 101, smashed into a tree and caught fire.

Sadly, the man sustained fatal injuries in the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
