Gilbert Chang ID’d as Driver Killed in Livermore Collision on Vasco Road

Livermore, California (March 31, 2020) – The man who was killed in a traffic collision that occurred on Sunday night near Livermore in unincorporated Alameda County has been identified as Gilbert Chang, 48, of Brentwood, according to the Alameda County coroner’s bureau.
The incident occurred at around 9 p.m. March 29, on northbound Vasco Road, about three miles north of I-580.
According to CHP, at least three vehicles, one of them a motorcycle, were involved in the crash.

Chang died in the collision.
There were no details on other possible injuries.
The crash led to the closure of Vasco Road in both directions as crews cleared the scene.
The CHP is working to determine the cause of the crash.
