George Llamas ID’d as 1 of 2 Killed in Tulare County Crash at Avenue 328 and Road 80
Tulare County, California (May 20, 2020) – Authorities have identified one of the two people who were killed Tuesday morning in a traffic accident in Tulare County as George Llamas, 20, of Dinuba.
The fatal crash occurred at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, at Avenue 328 and Road 8o.
A 2010 Prius, driven by Llamas, was traveling southbound on Road 80 toward Visalia at a high rate of speed when it rear-ended a commercial farming truck that was making a lane change at the intersection with Avenue 360.

George Llamas was transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. A 17-year-old girl, who was riding as a passenger in the Prius, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second passenger in the Prius, a 16-year-old, was also taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center with critical injuries.
As per the report, marijuana plants were scattered across the scene of the crash and a loaded gun was recovered inside the car.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
