Rider Killed in Gardena Motorcycle Crash at 135th Street and New Hampshire Avenue
Gardena, California (November 1, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic collision in the area of Gardena on Thursday evening.
The fatal crash happened at about 5:55 p.m. October 31, at the intersection at 135th Street and New Hampshire Avenue
The accident began when a gray Ford Focus traveling southbound on New Hampshire Avenue attempted to turn left in front of the motorcycle rider who was westbound on 135th Street. The Ford and the motorcycle collided, and the rider was ejected from the bike upon the impact.
The motorcyclist suffered major injuries in the crash. The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics but was sadly pronounced dead.
The Ford driver stopped after the crash and cooperated with the police investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
