Gabriella Perez-Ramirez ID’d as Woman Killed in Livermore Crash on Interstate Highway 580

Livermore, California (March 30, 2020) – The woman who was killed in a wrong-way collision on Sunday morning in Livermore has been identified as Gabriella Perez-Ramirez, 24, according to the CHP.
The incident happened at about 6:20 a.m. March 29, on Interstate Highway 580 near the North Livermore on-ramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Perez-Ramirez was driving a 2004 Buick LeSabre westbound in the eastbound side of I-580 when she collided head-on with an oncoming 2014 Nissan Altima.

Perez-Ramirez was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 33-year-old Newark woman who was driving the Nissan was rushed to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley with serious injuries.
All lanes of I-580 were blocked temporarily as crews examined and cleared the scene.
The crash is under investigation by the CHP.
