Fullerton, California (February 10, 2019) – Several pedestrians were injured after being struck by a car in Fullerton on Sunday morning.

According to a local news source, the accident occurred at about 2 a.m. in Fullerton’s SOCO (South of Commonwealth) district.

The authorities said 22-year-old Christopher Solis was driving a Toyota Tacoma in the area when he veered out of the roadway for unknown reasons and struck pedestrians on a sidewalk.

Nine people were injured in the early morning crash.

Solis was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.

No other information was provided.

An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
