At Least 1 Injured in Friant Car Crash at Highway 41 and Highway 145
Friant, California (February 1, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a head-on collision Thursday night in the area of Friant, according to authorities.
The collision happened at around 10:31 p.m. Thursday, January 31, at Highway 41 and Highway 145.
As per the officials, two vehicles including a gray sedan crashed for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles was reportedly smoking as a result of the collision.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to at least one person who suffered injuries as a result of the collision.
Authorities blocked the southbound lanes following the collision. All lanes were opened as of 11:38 p.m.
Tow trucks were dispatched to the scene to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional details concerning this incident were provided.
An investigation is underway.
