Fresno Pedestrian Collision at Fresno and E Streets Left Jose Pulido Dead
51-Year-Old Jose Pulido Struck and Killed by Vehicle at Fresno and E Streets in Fresno
Fresno, California (September 26, 2020) – 51-year-old man Jose Valencia Pulido has been identified as the male pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle earlier this month in Fresno.
On September 5, at about 9:30 p.m., officials received a report of a collision involving a vehicle operated by a police officer, westbound on Fresno Street, and a pedestrian.
As per the report, Pulido was pushing a bicycle inside the crosswalk on the east side of Fresno Street, heading north, when the police officer struck him in unclear circumstances.
The fatal crash happened at the intersection of Fresno and E streets Saturday night.
The officer remained at the crash site after the mishap.

Pulido died at the hospital while undergoing treatment.
The fatal accident remains under an active investigation.
