Joey Barron Arrested Following Fresno DUI Accident on State Route 168 near Shields Avenue
Fresno, California (January 5, 2021) – A passenger died following an alleged DUI crash early Saturday morning in Fresno, a local news source reported.
The fatal car collision took place on State Route 168 at Shields Avenue on January 2.
A car driven by 31-year-old Joey Barron of the freeway veered off the highway before slamming into a dirt embankment.
The vehicle rolled over upon the impact.

Sadly, a passenger riding in the flipped vehicle was declared dead at the scene shortly after 12:30 a.m.
Barron, who was intoxicated at the time of the crash, was later arrested in relation to the wreck.
The accident remains under active investigation.
