Fresno County, California (November 8, 2020) – A woman was killed and a man was seriously injured Saturday night in a three-vehicle crash south of Easton in Fresno County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The deadly accident occurred shortly after 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 7, on Highway 41 near Adams Avenue.

The CHP said a Honda Accord was heading southbound on Highway 41 when it turned eastbound onto Adams Avenue and collided with a Toyota Camry.

As a result of the crash, the Honda slammed into a Chevrolet Suburban occupied by a family of three, including a child, while the Camry careened into a light pole.

Deadly Accident on Highway 41 near Adams Avenue in Fresno County

The female passenger of the Camry was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name was withheld pending notification of family.

The male driver of the Camry suffered major injuries and was taken to a local hospital. According to the CHP, the Suburban occupants suffered minor injuries and had to seek medical attention on their own.

The driver of the Honda, a 17-year-old woman, complained of pain after the crash and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
