Woman Dies after Fresno Pedestrian Crash on Fairmead Boulevard and Avenue 23

Fresno, California (December 14, 2020) – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Sunday night in Fresno, Madera County, the CHP said.
The deadly accident happened just before midnight on Fairmead Boulevard and Avenue 23.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was hit by a vehicle on the roadway for undetermined reasons.
There was heavy fog in the area at the time of the crash. It’s unclear what type of vehicle hit the woman, the Investigators said.

Sadly, the woman sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for about two hours due to the mishap.
An investigation into the collision is underway. Anyone with any information about the accident is urged to contact the California Highway Patrol.
