55-Year-Old Woman Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Crash on Clinton Avenue near Bond Avenue
Fresno, California (October 25, 2020) – A 55-year-old woman was hit and killed by a vehicle on Saturday night in Fresno, authorities said.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly pedestrian accident occurred on October 24, on Clinton Avenue, east of Bond Avenue.
The CHP said the woman parked her car across the street from where she lived and was attempting to cross the street when a vehicle struck her.
As per the authorities report, the woman was not in a crosswalk at the time of the accident.

The woman was transported to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
