Man Killed in Fresno DUI Crash on Nees Avenue and Chestnut Avenue

Fresno, California (April 26, 2020) – A man was killed in a suspected DUI collision on Saturday afternoon in northeast Fresno, according to the Fresno police.
The crash was reported at about 3 p.m. April 25 on Nees Avenue and Chestnut Avenue.
According to police, a red car was traveling westbound on Nees Avenue when it tried to make a left turn onto Chestnut Avenue and was hit by a white pickup traveling northbound.
Man Dies in Fresno Drunk Driving Crash
A man who was a passenger in the car was rushed to St. Agnes Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the car sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the truck was unhurt and was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.
The crash is under investigation.
