Fresno, CA: Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash at McCall and Jensen Avenues

Fresno, California (July 27, 2020) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized Sunday afternoon after a traffic accident in Fresno, the California Highway Patrol reported.  

At about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, July 26, authorities received a report about the accident at the intersection of Jensen and McCall Avenues.  

According to witnesses, a 34-year-old Parlier woman was driving a Nissan Altima on the roadway when her vehicle collided with the motorcyclist who was turning right onto McCall Avenue on a red light.  

The rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, authorities said.

The motorcyclist, only identified as a 76-year-old Fresno man, sustained moderate to major injuries in the crash. He was transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.  

Further details about the accident were not immediately available.  

An investigation into the collision is underway.
