Fresno, CA: Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash at South Clovis and East Central Avenues
Rider Hospitalized after Fresno Motorcycle Accident at South Clovis Avenue and East Central Avenue
Fresno, California (June 30, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Wednesday night in a traffic collision in southeast Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury crash occurred at around 8:22 p.m. at the intersection of South Clovis and East Central avenues.
The motorcyclist reportedly pulled in front of a pickup truck, the CHP said. Both vehicles ultimately collided at the intersection.
After the crash, the rider lost control of the bike.
Major Injury Motorcycle Accident in Fresno
The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, sustained major injuries and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center.
The pickup driver had only minor injuries.
According to the CHP, the unidentified rider was testing out the bike when the crash happened.
Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the collision, which remains under investigation.
