Man Dies in Fresno Pedestrian Crash at Cedar and Shields Avenues

Fresno, California (April 2, 2019) – A man was struck and killed by a vehicle while in a wheelchair on Thursday morning in Fresno, according to the authorities.
The incident happened near Cedar and Shields avenues shortly before 6 a.m. April 1.
Police said the man was trying to cross the street when he was hit by a vehicle.

The victim was killed in the crash. His identity was not immediately released.
The driver involved remained at the scene.
Police are investigating the incident.
